Piping Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced

Piping Engineering Lead

to manage piping design, development, and execution for ESSA’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project. This role ensures all piping systems meet technical, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle; from FEED to commissioning and supports post-startup modifications. And will collaborate with EPC contractors, vendors, licensors, and multi-disciplined teams to deliver safe and efficient designs.

Location : ESM Head Office, Jakarta Selatan & Site Plant

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.

Minimum 12 years’ experience in piping engineering, including 3 years in a lead role within oil & gas, petrochemical, or ammonia industries.

Strong knowledge of ASME/API standards and piping design principles.

Proven experience across FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Caesar II.

Skilled in cross-discipline coordination and vendor/EPC interface management.

Familiar with SMK3 and ISO 14001 compliance.

Experience in EPC ITB preparation and bid evaluation preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Lead piping design and execution across FEED, EPC, and commissioning.

Develop and review engineering documents (BEDD, PMS, standards, specifications).

Review layouts, isometrics, and stress analyses for compliance.

Coordinate with licensors, EPCs, and vendors on technical issues.

Supervise piping engineers and manage deliverables.

Support field activities during fabrication, installation, and testing.

Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture.

Oversee documentation, as-built drawings, and project handover.
