Job Description
We are helping our client in the manufacturing industry, specifically in commercial refrigeration and beverage cooling equipment production, by managing end-to-end HR operations and workforce administration.
The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing payroll administration, employee movement processes, recruitment, and employee development in alignment with company strategy. The role supports the HR Manager in fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies, IMS standards, and applicable labor regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee payroll processing, loans, pensions, BPJS reporting, and employee movement administration.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee development programs.
Support budget planning and control for compensation, benefits, and training programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, company regulations, and internal systems (IMS, ISO 9001, 5S).
Ensure accuracy of employment contracts, HR documentation, and mandatory government reporting.
Supervise and manage industrial relations matters, including employee grievances and union-related issues.
Maintain relationships with government institutions related to manpower, industrial relations, HSE, and licensing compliance.
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs, including hazard identification, risk control, and aspect-impact analysis.
Support organizational development initiatives including job analysis, grading structure, manpower planning, and performance appraisal systems.
Monitor departmental KPIs and initiate continuous improvement programs.
Supervise HR service providers and ensure effective execution of subordinate tasks.
Authorities
Provide recommendations to management regarding HR policies and workforce strategy.
Coordinate HR matters internally up to Supervisor level.
Liaise with relevant external stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations.
Enforce HSE compliance and recommend disciplinary action when required.
Stop malfunctioning equipment/processes and report to the relevant Supervisor.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelorโs Degree (S1) in Psychology, Law, or Management.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience managing people, payroll systems, and HR processes.
Experience supporting clients within the manufacturing industry, specifically in commercial refrigeration and beverage cooling equipment production.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of manpower regulations, ISO 9001, 5S philosophy, and Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
Comprehensive understanding of HSE, hazard & risk control, aspect-impact management, and hazardous material handling.
Strong analytical skills in competency assessment and workforce planning.
