Position: Supervisor Sales (On The Road)
Target: Head Truck, Lorry, Mixer, Water Truck, Fuel Truck through leasing, not in-house
PT Indonesia Equipment Centre is an expanding company dealing in heavy equipment business which is known as an authorized distributor of any heavy equipment Products.
Conduct direct field sales (on the road) for commercial vehicles—tractor heads, lorries, concrete mixers, water trucks, and fuel trucks—by leveraging the existing customer database across Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. Responsibilities include canvassing, scheduling on‑site visits and demonstrations, following up leads through calls and meetings, and maintaining accurate activity records. The role also focuses on nurturing relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat business, while proactively building new networks through referrals, local industry communities, and targeted prospecting in key logistics and construction corridors.
Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities)
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and dealers.
Prepare regular sales reports for management, tracking performance, and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
Oversee the negotiation and closing of sales deals with key customers.
Oversee end-to-end sales execution: canvassing cadence, customer visits, product demos, proposal quality, and structured negotiations.
Manage and maximize the customer database within the designated areas.
Develop sales strategies and market penetration plans for assigned regions.
Coordinate with financing partners (Leasing), operations, and aftersales teams to ensure smooth sales processes.
Provide sales reports and market updates to the Head of Sales.
Qualifications
Minimum education D3/Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, or Marketing Management).
5+ years in B2B sales (trucks/heavy equipment/commercial vehicles and logistics); ≥1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
Proven close target deals.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets for commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven skills in team coaching, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal review.
Willing to do frequent fieldwork/ride‑along.
Integrity, customer focus, and disciplined execution.
