Objectives of the Position:
To support Site Manager in production activity for the safe, effective, and profitable operation of ED Merak Site
To contribute in production process enhancement in cooperation with Production Manager
To contribute in engineering activities in cooperation with Maintenance Manager
To contribute in production process to ensure consistent quality in cooperation with QC Manager
Main Responsiblity:
EHS & Process Safety related:
Ensure implementation of Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) on Code Process Safety & code champion during internal & external Audits
Developing & review of Process Safety Management (PSM) with expert & senior level management
Developing, review, and updating Management of Change (MOC) procedure & Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) for plant-related changes
Coordinating Safety Review or Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) such as HAZOP & Diagram Review utilizing Stature software
Responsible for implementation of safety concepts in the plant such as Reactor Safety Concept, Raw Material Safety Concept, Explosion Protection concept, etc., to develop & ensure safe operation of plant
Responsible for issuing Safe Work Permit & subsequent risk assessment for non-routine activities in Production & Site Area
As a member of Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) to develop and manage procedure & response during emergency scenario
Take responsibility as the coordinator for air pollution handling in Merak Site such as:
Manage and assess the potential for air pollution caused by their company and its possible impacts
Plan and coordinate the implementation of emission monitoring activities for non moving sources and ambient air as well as making reports
Take responsibility as the coordinator for hazardous waste handling in Merak Site such as:
Hazardous waste (LB3) handling in TPS B3
Electronic reporting in SIMPEL for hazardous waste (Siraja Limbah)
Monitor the implementation of hazardous waste handling
Ensure compliance of hazardous waste handling to Indonesia regulation and BASF regulation
Process Engineering related:
To issue or update production batch cards according to manufacturing procedure & schedule
Responsible for new product development based on R&D recipe in production by establishing communication with R&D, generating batch card, monitoring and reporting the quality
To develop & issue procedure related to process or production
Responsible for process optimization (technical, work process, and automation) such as and not limited to :
Production process optimization, reduction of loss by improving the current process
Overall Asset Effectiveness (OAE) monitoring and improvement process in production and utility area
Utility usage monitoring optimization
Continuous improvement process in production and utility area
Utilization of Digitalization to improve process production
Developing and application of Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Cause & Effect (Interlock diagram) and Alarm Management in DCS system
Responsible for definition, acquisition and controlling of KPI’s to ensure asset effectiveness including monitoring, analysis, improvement and reporting KPI’s
Responsible for implementation of safety concepts in the plant such as and not limited to reactor safety concept, raw material safety concept, area definition in EX document, etc.
Others:
Assigned as Deputy QC Infrastructure Manager
Assigned as mentor and trainer.
As a member of “HALAL Management Team”
As an internal auditor of ISPS Code
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor Degree from Chemical Engineering, or
Bachelor Degrre from Chemistry, or
Bachelor Degree from Industrial Engineering
Experience:
Min. 5 years of experience working in Industry
Min. 3 years of experience working in chemical plant
Other Competencies:
Sound technical knowledge in production or lant related function
High level of initiative to get the work done
Analytical thinking and troubleshooting
Reporting method, computer & program literacy
Working level of english proficiency is a must to communicate with Regional or Global Team
