Senior Lending Manager - Global Payment - Indonesia
Responsibilities
Develop and refine our lending product roadmap and strategy, in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as legal, compliance, engineering, design, marketing, and business.
Lead regulatory ownership in addition to product work: engage with OJK and other relevant authorities on a frequent basis (~every 2 weeks), prepare and present documents in Bahasa, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and data to identify opportunities for lending product growth, risk mitigation, and optimization.
Collaborate with payment and financial service partners to integrate lending solutions (white-label or co-branding) onto our platform, ensuring seamless user experience and regulatory adherence.
Manage the end-to-end process of lending transactions, from customer onboarding to issue resolution, including audit readiness for OJK reviews.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lending, digital finance, and fintech ecosystems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
Proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on lending, consumer finance, payments, or fintech.
Strong understanding of regulatory processes and compliance, with proven experience in engaging regulators, preparing licensing documentation, and supporting audits.
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across multiple teams and departments.
Experience with end-to-end product management: idea generation, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and product launch.
Preferred Qualification(s)
Able to handle regulator-facing responsibilities independently.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results.
Prior experience in P2P lending, consumer finance.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
