Job Description
As an
Account Payable & Treasury Lead , you will oversee Accounts Payable and Treasury operations to ensure accurate execution, timely payments, and strong cash flow management that supports sustainable business growth. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and banking partners to improve financial processes, strengthen governance, and ensure every payment, reconciliation, and cash decision supports efficient operations and long-term financial stability.
What You'll Do
Own and lead the monthly Accounts Payable closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Supervise company-wide vendor payment planning, balancing payment schedules with cash availability and operational priorities.
Manage workloads across the AP & Treasury team while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing work culture.
Oversee bank statement and ERP reconciliations across business units, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and proper exception resolution.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, banks, and financial institutions, including negotiation of payment terms and banking services.
Lead short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity, working capital, and fund allocation aligned with business needs.
Analyze AP and treasury data to generate insights, improve invoice cycle efficiency, and support financial decision-making.
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives, including ERP enhancements, automation, and reporting integration.
Ensure all AP-related tax documentation and audit findings are properly reviewed and compliant with national regulations.
Collaborate closely with Accounting, IT, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders while reporting performance insights to mid-level management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, or Finance Operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, AP processes, treasury operations, and tax compliance requirements.
Proven experience managing vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment.
Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workloads, and develop team members through coaching and structured planning.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally and negotiating with external partners.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with strong time management discipline.
