Compliance Associate

Job Description Job ID: MJ000109 We are looking for a Compliance Associate to join the dynamic Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team in Traveloka. This is an essential role where you will be contributing to our financing and data protection sectors which requires your familiarity in e-commerce and lending business. Your focus is to ensure highest standards of compliance are being maintained and keeping up to date with regulations to advise and influence stakeholders. The Compliance Associate will be reporting to the Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Lead and based in the Traveloka office in BSD, Tangerang. The scope of responsibilities for the Compliance Associate is to: (i) ensure all aspects of compliance for the financing/lending sector are maintained to the highest standards through regulatory management by identifying the obligations, analyzing and advising the impact to the stakeholders; (ii) able to interpret the regulations and policies from authorities, including how to translate it to business practices; (iii) conduct research and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations across our markets; (iv) support the management of Privacy Notice, Data Protection Impact Assessment, Record of Processing Activities within the group company; (v) draft and review internal policies and procedures; (vi) perform regulatory risk assessment for commercial or business initiatives or projects as needed; (vii) perform AML/CTF, KYC, KYE, KYP and other required compliance checks; (viii) support and arrange the training or socialization on compliance or regulatory matters to employees. Requirements Minimum Bachelor degree in Law Minimum 3-4 years experience handling legal, compliance and regulatory matters Sound understanding of OJK regulations and awareness of relevant laws and regulations Sound understanding of personal data protection regulations and awareness of relevant laws and regulations Some familiarity in handling Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection matters Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia Must be willing to collaborate with other legal functions and business units Quick learner of the business and legal process
