Our teams work across multi‑disciplinary infrastructure and complex urban development, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and client partnership.SMEC Indonesia invites Expressions of Interest from experienced Mechanical & Electrical Building Consultants for a large-scale rail Construction Supervision assignment in Southeast Asia.This is a long-term supervision project (approximately 6 years, subject to extension).This is an Expression of Interest for bid submission purposes. Client and project details will be shared at a later stage with shortlisted candidates.**Key Responsibilities**:* Supervise MEP building works for underground and elevated rail stations and depot facilities* Oversee HVAC, fire protection, power distribution, lighting, drainage, plumbing, and associated systems* Ensure compliance with design intent and rail safety standards* Review contractor submissions and shop drawings* Coordinate with architectural and structural disciplines* Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning**Mandatory Requirements**:* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)* Minimum 12 years total professional experience* Minimum 5 years of infrastructure project experience* Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Supervision, Management Consultancy, or Design Consultancy* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role* Rail project experience (underground and/or elevated) is mandatory* Minimum 2 years of working experience in Asia* IELTS ≥ 6.5 or equivalent**Why Join SJ/SMEC**Join a global, multidisciplinary consultancy shaping sustainable, people-centric environments across 40+ countries.
