Application Engineer - MES

The IT Engineer will serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues within the organization. This role is responsible for receiving, logging, and addressing user service requests and incidents promptly, while ensuring continuity and efficiency in IT operations across business units.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact in the IT department, receive and log user issues and requests, and provide answers, support, and troubleshooting promptly.

Provide support for application software including MES, WMS, SAP, and weighing systems.

When unable to directly resolve user requests, contact second-tier IT professionals, system analysts, or external suppliers to ensure issues are addressed.

Record communication details and methods of resolving malfunctions in detail during the work process.

Periodically categorize malfunctions, conduct trend analysis, propose improvements to IT services, and collaborate or lead the implementation of improvement plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Associate Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

More than 3 years of IT operations and application support experience in the manufacturing industry.

Familiar with application software systems in manufacturing such as MES, WMS, SAP.

Proficient in the corporate WeChat ecosystem and MS Office/Office 365 tools.

Able to work from home during non-office hours if required.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Willing to work in shifts.
