L2 Network Engineer

Talent Acquisition - Packet System Indonesia Job Requirements:

Possessing a bachelor degree (S-1) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication from a reputable university with a minimum IPK of 3.0

5 years of experience as an L2 or senior-level Network Engineer with a specific focus on Cisco SDN Technology (SD‑Access or Cisco ACI); additional exposure to Cisco Meraki and Cisco Collaboration is a strong point

Must possess a CCNP Enterprise-level certification

Deep knowledge of Cisco Technologies (Routing, Switching & Wireless) from an installation standpoint: pre‑config, device migration, upgrade management, etc.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Competent with Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to perform under pressure and tight time constraints; able to work with limited guidance in line with a broad plan or strategy

Responsibilities:

Work as part of PSI customer network with responsibilities that include system maintenance, upgrade, or new initiatives (change requests) led by the customer’s PIC

Provide initial troubleshooting for incoming issues before escalation to the next level of support

Verify with customers to ensure that requests or issues are completed within desired criteria

Support troubleshooting of any findings/problems within the designated customer environment

Support change requests for the customer’s network environment (when required)

Work with other customer infrastructure teams (e.g., security, network) and third‑party vendors to open cases and escalation as part of troubleshooting

Provide maintenance reports such as tickets and issues (corrective), preventive and network documentation

Monitor system health and act for or report issue mitigation

Act as a support for new installations; integrate the desired system into the existing system and perform required migration

Work as a team to manage all project documentation (e.g., Site Survey, MoP, UAT) as build documentation
