About the Role
Developing internal litigation team to handle litigation cases, both criminal and civil by considering the materiality, and the complexity of the cases.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Legal in handling litigation and pre-litigation cases
Preparing, drafting, and reviewing legal responses of complaints addressed by Lawyer/Legal Consultant on behalf of Customers or legal notice from others.
Facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and relevant government authorities regarding ongoing or potential legal disputes
Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree of Law
At least 1-2 years working experience as in-house counsel (corporate/litigation function) from financial institutions and/or corporate lawyer in reputable law firm, preference has exposure to insurance industry
Prior experience coordinating with external counsel and managing legal documentation.
Experienced drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents and responses.
Familiarity with corporate governance and legal risk management.
Excellent written and communication skills in English.
Willing to take 3-months contract
