Your new role The Iran affiliate of Novo Nordisk, based in Tehran, is hiring for the position of Education Specialist. In your new role, you will play a vital role in Novo Nordisk’s mission to improve patient outcomes and promote disease awareness. Your key responsibilities will include: Deliver on-site and online educational sessions for diabetes and obesity patients. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure evidence‑based, compliant education. Develop patient‑engagement strategies to boost participation in programs. Analyse program effectiveness and prepare management reports. Train internal and external stakeholders on patient support programs. Respond to patient inquiries and provide educational materials across channels. Prepare educational resources, report complaints/adverse events, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Your new department The Department of Clinical Medical Regulatory (CMR) at Novo Nordisk is pivotal in the company's mission to improve healthcare outcomes through innovative solutions. Based in Tehran, Iran, the department focuses on the strategic and scientific support of commercial departments, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients. The atmosphere is collaborative, dynamic, and driven by a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Your skills & qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Relevant experience and qualifications (Master’s degree in health education, public health, or a related field, previous experience working in diabetes, and obesity education or chronic disease management, collaboration with healthcare institutions, and proficiency in Persian/English; additional languages a plus). Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop and deliver educational content for diverse audiences. Empathy and relationship‑building capabilities to effectively support and engage patients and colleagues. Proficiency with educational technologies, tools, and multimedia content development. Knowledge of patient education, engagement strategies, complaint management, and healthcare regulatory/compliance requirements.
