Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and service oriented Restaurant Server to join our team at Cucina, one of the signature dining outlets at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort.
As a Restaurant Server at Cucina, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, in depth product knowledge, and warm hospitality in a vibrant Italian inspired dining atmosphere.
Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor
Present menus and provide detailed explanations of dishes, beverages, and daily specials
Offer recommendations and upsell signature dishes and beverages
Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service
Process bills and handle payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or upscale restaurant
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
Well groomed with professional appearance
Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Strong teamwork and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of POS systems
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Positive attitude, energetic personality, and passion for hospitality
