Creative Director (Lead Designer Manager)
The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in
branding and design , particularly with experience in
signage design . The right candidate should be capable of
managing creative teams
and contributing to
strategic conceptual proposals . They will be a
confident leader
with strong
visual and verbal storytelling skills , and possess a deep understanding of branding from a
consultancy perspective .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and design of brand identity systems, including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with strategists to create compelling conceptual proposals and presentations for clients that communicate clear brand narratives and visual directions.
Manage and mentor a team of designers, assigning projects, overseeing timelines, and ensuring quality of output.
Work closely with project managers to ensure cohesive execution of brand projects.
Oversee and contribute to key messaging, taglines, and brand voice development. Provide guidance and edits to inhouse copywriters.
Present creative work to clients with clarity and confidence. Lead discussions and incorporate feedback with professionalism.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in brand design, preferably in a branding agency or consultancy environment.
Proven experience leading a creative/design team.
Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity projects from concept to execution.
Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work strategically and conceptuallyโnot just execute.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with branding for a range of sectors (lifestyle, hospitality and real estate).
