Senior Officer - Sourcing (Packaging)

Overview This role is to Evaluate and choose suppliers the company will do business with. This includes assessing if a supplier can meet Meiyume and/or customer’s requirement on quality, pricing, delivery lead time and social compliance.

Understand and deliver packaging product solutions based on Meiyume and/or customer’s needs.

Work closely with commercial, product development, project manager, and other related team to ensure a flawless development of business with suppliers.

Review customer brief and be able to propose different options to suit customer’s needs in terms of quality, price, lead time and sustainability.

Lead negotiation with supplier on price, delivery lead time, quality requirement and other commercial terms and conditions.

Coordinate with product development and quality team to ensure product design, technical structure, functional and quality aspects are up to customer expectation.

Work with direct report manager to frame a souring strategy and be accountable for implementation at local level.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver packaging product solutions aligned with customer needs.

Collaborate with commercial, product development, project management, and related teams for supplier development.

Review customer briefs and propose options in terms of quality, price, lead time, and sustainability.

Lead negotiations with suppliers on price, lead time, quality requirements, and terms.

Coordinate with product development and quality teams to ensure design and quality meet customer expectations.

Contribute to sourcing strategy formulation and implementation at the local level.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of working experience as Sourcing/Procurement role.

Minimum Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant major.

Have a strong background in personal care manufacturing is a plus
