About the Role The Senior Project Manager – Transmission Infrastructure will lead the end-to-end execution of transmission development of mega capital projects required to connect new geothermal generation assets to the grid. The role covers the full project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, energization, and operational handover. The position requires strong expertise in transmission line development, substation infrastructure, right-of-way management, regulatory permitting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and grid requirements. This role plays a critical part in enabling reliable grid connection capability and supporting the successful commissioning of new generation assets.

Key Responsibilities End-to-End Project Leadership Lead the full lifecycle execution of transmission infrastructure projects including route development, tower construction, stringing, substation installation, testing, energization, and handover to operations.

Engineering & Construction Oversight Oversee detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities for transmission lines and associated substations while ensuring technical integrity and compliance with grid standards.

Permitting & Land Access Strategy Develop and execute permitting and land access strategies including right-of-way acquisition, environmental approvals, and regulatory clearances in coordination with authorities and landowners.

Contract & Contractor Management Manage Design & Construct (D&C) contracts and other project execution models including contractor selection support, contract administration, performance monitoring, variation control, and claims resolution.

Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate structured engagement with local governments, regulators, PLN, landowners, and surrounding communities to ensure smooth project execution and mitigate social or regulatory risks.

Project Planning & Controls Develop and manage integrated project schedules and budgets, implementing disciplined project controls covering cost management, risk mitigation, and change management.

SHE & Regulatory Compliance Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards, transmission safety requirements, grid codes, and company governance policies throughout all project phases.

Project Governance & Reporting Provide structured updates to senior management highlighting project progress, risks, financial performance, and key decision requirements.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline) Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration is an advantage PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred Relevant SHE certifications (NEBOSH, AK3 Umum, or equivalent) are advantageous Contract management or project controls certification is a plus

Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in energy, resources, or power transmission infrastructure projects Proven experience delivering large-scale transmission line and substation developments Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards and transmission safety requirements Experience managing Design & Construct (D&C) or EPC project contracts Solid knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes in Indonesia Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities
