Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (Indonesia)
Manages major aspects of the corporation’s internal and external financial reporting process. Prepares financial statements for review by Financial Reporting Head, maintaining all supporting documentation. Assists with external review/audit process and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance procedures. May manage professional staff.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Train the staff and provide development opportunities. Ensure annual goals are complete, communicated, and tracked.
Perform general management duties: staff performance appraisals, promotions, terminations, training, development, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring application of organizational policies.
Lead and influence the team to achieve individual and business goals.
Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and operating plan.
Promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values; model and enforce ethical behavior.
Apply 5S practices and maintain safety commitments in all tasks.
Operations
Finance Manager manages the planning and direction of project or departmental projects.
Manage closing, financial controls, compliance, forecasting, budgeting and process and project improvements.
Oversee the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
Monitor and evaluate project progress and results and recommend improvements.
Plan and coordinate the preparation and distribution of financial management reports.
Conduct financial studies and analyses as requested by management.
Ensure all reports and disclosures comply with applicable regulations, professional standards and organizational policies.
Formulate recommendations and implement policies to increase profitability.
Prioritize tasks to focus on the biggest issues and meet deadlines.
Maintain integrity, anticipate questions and challenges from finance and external audit, avoid financial surprises, and keep management informed of any gaps.
Focus on complex annual operating plan issues and provide recommendations.
Assist in preparing the AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) with other functions, ensuring final analysis is accurate.
Support planning for the Strategic Plan, provide recommendations.
Coach and lead Green Belts and apply Six Sigma tools.
Lead or participate in cross‑functional process improvement projects; identify and implement improvements.
Analyze potential and current investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and other investment opportunities.
Prepare reports related to new business opportunities, analyze variances from planned or forecasted results, and provide interpretative comments to senior management.
Analyze product pricing to determine profitability and recommend adjustments.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance or a related field.
MBA, CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
9+ years of finance or related experience.
3+ years of prior management experience.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Understanding of relevant computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function‑specific software.
Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
