Islamic Education Teacher for Primary School (Substitute)

with the following qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Education or equivalent.

Holding a teaching certificate would be preferable.

Minimum two years of teaching experience as an Islamic Education Teacher in an English environment.

Currently not participating as a candidate for Scholarship, Civil Service, or Government Staff selection process (for example CPNS, PPPK, etc.) or committed to other parties.

Having strong knowledge and skills in Islamic, Qur'anic, and Arabic teachings.

Proven self‑initiative, creativity, teamwork spirit with an open‑minded character.

Possess strong Islamic characters.

Enjoys working with children.

Digitally literate (MS Office and digital learning media).

Fluent in English, both oral and written will be an advantage.

Ready to join in February 2026.

This position is for a 3‑month contract (For maternity leaves).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop complete lesson plans, student assessment strategies, and instructional resources based on students' needs and interests.

Deliver instructional activities and adjust them accordingly to ensure students' academic development.

Work collaboratively with the classroom team to apply research‐based activities within the curriculum implementation.

Complete regular assessments within the school academic year with multiple assessment evidence from various learning activities.

Do analysis and evaluation of teaching and learning activities.

Rate, record, and report student development, progress, and achievement in English.

Hold parent‑teacher conferences throughout the academic year regarding children’s performance.

Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Maintain an ongoing and comprehensive student profile for each student.

Complete continuous professional development and apply the knowledge and skills to support instructional activities.

Provide constant guidance and motivation to students.

Other duties: The school may assign other functions to the job when required.
