Job Purpose
We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic procurement team as Assistant Procurement Manager. This role will support the day‑to‑day activities of Procurement Managers within the assigned category, requiring strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
Support Home Care Procurement Manager Indonesia through business partnering and delivery of competitive sourcing for the Home Care division.
Manage flawless collaboration with portfolio procurement to deliver the best strategy and actions to land competitiveness for Material Cost.
Handle Source to Pay operational requirements, including supplier management, contract management, purchase order management, and supplier payment.
Manage 3PM / Collaborative Manufacturers to produce home care products.
Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain factory team, including Quality and Safety to drive Fuel for Growth agenda of Home Care Indonesia.
Assist Procurement Managers in end‑to‑end process of supplier selection, contract negotiation, implementation, and management.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and products.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to supplier performance, spend data, and other key metrics.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiations with existing suppliers or by introducing new suppliers into the mix.
Monitor trends in global markets and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
Experience handling in‑contract manufacturers.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems is a plus.
Fluency in English is required.
