Heat Exchanger Process Engineer

The candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and performance optimization of heat exchanger systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Qualifications Minimum Diploma degree in Engineering or a related field 1–3 years of experience in a similar role and industry Good understanding of basic heat transfer principles and cooling systems Hands-on experience in cleaning coils, tubes, and fins Familiar with the use of pressure, temperature, and flow measurement instruments Basic knowledge of refrigerants and occupational health & safety (K3) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and basic engineering drawings Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team Willing to work in shifts or be on-call when required

Job Responsibilities Define technical specifications based on process requirements and customer standards Perform thermal calculations, pressure drop analysis, and system efficiency evaluations Coordinate with engineering, production, quality control, and project teams Supervise the manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes of heat exchangers Troubleshoot performance issues related to AC systems or heat exchangers Prepare and review technical documentation, including datasheets, drawings, and reports Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (ASME, TEMA, AHRI, ISO) Provide technical support during commissioning and site installation Optimize designs to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs
