to improve decision-making, optimize spend, and enable scalable, compliant data capabilities.

The

Data Initiatives Lead

will play a critical role in shaping, launching, and governing these initiatives. This role requires someone who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to data programs, while partnering closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Data Initiative Leadership Establish and lead a

portfolio of data initiatives , ensuring each is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to business objectives Develop structured

initiative frameworks , including scope definition, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics Drive consistency in how data initiatives are proposed, approved, executed, and measured

Governance & Oversight Design and implement

governance models

for data initiatives, including decision-making forums, reporting cadence, and escalation paths Ensure initiatives adhere to internal standards, regulatory requirements, and data governance principles Provide leadership with clear visibility into initiative status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes Financial & Spend Management Own oversight of

data-related spend

across initiatives, including planning, tracking, and variance analysis Partner with finance and procurement teams to improve transparency, forecasting, and cost control Identify opportunities to optimize investment and reduce duplication across data efforts Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across business, IT, data, and external vendors Translate strategic objectives into actionable data initiatives and delivery roadmaps Facilitate alignment across global and regional teams operating within a matrixed environment Reporting & Insight Develop clear, executive-level reporting on initiative progress, value realization, and spend Support leadership with insights and recommendations to inform data investment decisions Continuously assess and refine the data initiative portfolio based on outcomes and evolving priorities

Required Experience & Capabilities Strong experience leading

enterprise data initiatives, programs, or portfolios Demonstrated ability to bring

structure and governance

to complex, multi-stakeholder environments Proven track record in

budget ownership or spend management Comfortable operating in

ambiguous or evolving environments , with the ability to define clarity and direction Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear, concise manner

Preferred / Nice to Have Experience within

MedTech, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other regulated industries Exposure to data strategy, data governance, analytics, or enterprise data platforms Experience working across

EMEA or global organizations

Working Model & Contract Details Fully remote role, EU-based candidates preferred 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension based on business needs Immediate or short-notice availability strongly preferred
