Job Description
Production 3D Drafter at StickEarn
StickEarn is an advertising technology company on a mission to transform Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising through technology, data, and creativity. We empower brands, agencies, and media owners to create impactful advertising experiences across Indonesia.
As a Production 3D Drafter, you will be responsible for transforming creative concepts into accurate, production‑ready technical drawings for indoor and outdoor events of all scales. This role requires strong technical expertise, in‑depth knowledge of real‑world materials, and close coordination with vendors to ensure every design is feasible, buildable, and aligned with budget and time‑line constraints. You will work closely with production teams, fabricators, and AV partners to validate specifications and translate ideas into precise technical plans that can be confidently executed on‑site.
What You’ll Do
Create accurate, scaled, production‑ready 3D models and technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, assembly guides).
Ensure drawings reflect real‑world dimensions and specify commonly available materials and standard market sizes.
Liaise directly with vendors (carpentry, metalwork, print, AV, fabrication) to validate buildability and technical feasibility.
Analyze creative concepts and propose practical, cost‑aware construction solutions.
Maintain clear documentation, version control, and structured drawing sets.
Adapt quickly to client revisions or last‑minute production changes.
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of professional experience in 3D drafting or technical design, with proven construction‑ready drawings that have been successfully fabricated and built.
Advanced proficiency in SketchUp and Blender; familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, or 3Ds Max is a plus.
Strong knowledge of event production materials (MDF, plywood grades, aluminum truss, PVC, fabric, acrylic, etc.) including standard market sizes and availability.
Solid understanding of event construction methods, joinery systems, temporary structures, and vendor shop drawing requirements across carpentry, metalwork, print, and AV.
Ability to translate creative concepts into accurate, scaled, and fully annotated technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, assembly guides) that are practical and buildable.
Strong problem‑solving skills to assess feasibility, material efficiency, cost implications, and optimize designs for transport, storage, and reusability.
Experience coordinating directly with vendors or fabricators to validate specifications and present technical drawings clearly.
Good understanding of spatial planning, human scale, ergonomics, and (ideally) basic electrical load or large‑format print specifications for integrated event builds.
Strong time management and adaptability, able to manage multiple projects and quickly revise drawings based on client or on‑site changes.
Portfolio showcasing technical drawings for events, exhibitions, retail environments, or large‑scale installations; on‑site build experience and familiarity with material take‑offs or cost estimation are advantages.
