Coordinating with clients/customer, planning and executing events, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Banquet Sales Manager will also assist in developing sales strategies and maintaining client relationships to achieve revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for banquets and events.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, weddings, and social events.
Monitor the event and ensure everything is running well.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
Lead and motivate the banquet and events team to deliver high-quality service.
Prepare and manage budgets for events, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Monitor sales and revenue performance, analyzing trends and adjusting strategies as needed.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and client feedback.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for events.
Participate in networking events and trade shows to promote the companyโs banquet and event services.
Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure smooth and safe event operations.
Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, event management or customer relationship management.
Technical Skills
Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies and event management.
Proficiency in using sales and event management software.
Soft Skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
