Civil Engineer – SCG Indonesia

About the Role The Civil Engineer supports SCG Indonesia’s projects by designing, reviewing, and supervising civil and structural works for

industrial facilities, infrastructure, and building-related projects . This role ensures that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with SCG’s standards of quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and review designs, drawings, and specifications for civil and structural projects. Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works meet design requirements and safety standards. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines on design and execution. Evaluate project feasibility and provide technical solutions to optimize cost, quality, and schedule. Support procurement teams by preparing technical requirements and evaluating vendor proposals. Monitor progress and provide regular updates on project milestones and issues. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and company guidelines. Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). 0–5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, construction, or project execution. Knowledge of design codes and software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar). Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills. Ability to communicate effectively in
