Senior Data Scientist – Generative AI --- Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Generative AI to design, build, and optimize GenAI solutions such as LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, and AI assistants. The role requires strong technical depth, experimentation capability, and production-oriented solution development in enterprise environments. The candidate will work closely with SMEs, architects, and project teams to translate business problems into scalable GenAI solutions. --- Key Responsibilities GenAI Solution Development · Design and develop GenAI solutions using LLMs and foundation models · Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines · Develop prompt frameworks and response optimization strategies · Implement embeddings and semantic search solutions · Build AI copilots, assistants, and knowledge bots · Develop evaluation pipelines for GenAI output quality Model & Data Work · Select and evaluate LLMs and embedding models · Perform prompt tuning and response evaluation · Prepare and process structured and unstructured datasets · Implement chunking, indexing, and retrieval strategies · Support fine-tuning or adapter-based approaches where applicable Engineering & Integration · Develop Python-based AI pipelines and APIs · Integrate GenAI services with enterprise applications · Work with vector databases and document stores · Collaborate with platform and MLOps teams for deployment · Optimize performance, latency, and cost Collaboration · Work with Functional SMEs and Business Analysts on use cases · Support PoCs, pilots, and production rollouts · Document experiments and solution patterns · Mentor junior data scientists --- Required Technical Skills · Strong Python programming · Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks · Experience with RAG architectures · Vector databases (Chroma, Pinecone, FAISS, etc.) · Prompt engineering techniques · LangChain / LlamaIndex or similar frameworks · NLP fundamentals · API development and integration · Experiment tracking and evaluation methods --- Preferred Skills · Agentic AI workflows · Multi-step reasoning chains · LLM evaluation frameworks · Cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI / AWS / GCP) · MLOps / LLMOps exposure · Knowledge graph integration · Guardrails and Responsible AI controls --- Experience · 4–8 years in Data Science / Applied AI · 1–3+ years hands-on GenAI / LLM solution work · Experience delivering production AI solutions preferred --- Soft Skills · Strong analytical thinking · Experimentation mindset · Clear technical documentation · Cross-team collaboration · Problem-solving under ambiguity
