Primary Responsibilities
You will be working on advisory projects to deliver breakthrough insights, action, and results for leading investors, corporates and policymakers. You will help design and structure innovative financial solutions to tackle some of the worldโs most significant challenges. You will help direct creative philanthropic capital and support ground-breaking new ventures as they create new solutions to shift capital into low-carbon, nature-positive opportunities. And you will help the team research and communicate with policymakers about how to green the financial system.
From day one, you will hit the ground running as a Manager within our Sustainable Finance team:
Support external partners to develop strategies in a rapidly changing environment โ working with them to identify investment opportunities across new technologies and business models that can shift capital towards a low-carbon, nature-positive economic system.
Lead a team of other System Change Leaders and support them to thrive in their work
Bring data together in a consistent way and perform analyses based on agreed questions for insights
Develop long-lasting and collaborative relationships with project partners and stakeholders
Provide strategic insights and develop practical solutions for successful transformations
Support these partners in monitoring, evaluating, and communicating their business model, vision, and impact
Essential Qualifications / Experience
Business international level of English (required) โ both written and oral
Demonstrable knowledge of Indonesia capital markets & macroeconomic trends and an understanding of how financial institutions, instruments, and tools can help shift capital at scale for a low-carbon, nature-positive, more inclusive economy
Ideally, a background in a corporate advisory firm or financial institution
An understanding of trends across ESG, sustainable, and climate finance
5+ years of experience in a professional system change environment (thought leadership/research, start-ups, advisory/consulting, strategy, project management, investment), preferably in an international environment
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
