Finance and Accounting Manager (Medan)

Job Description: Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Medan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement. This role will cover the full spectrum of finance, accounting, and tax functions. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Planning: Lead budgeting, long-term financial planning, and rolling forecasts aligned with business growth objectives, proactively identifying risks and opportunities. Financial Reporting & Business Insights: Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with meaningful analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Compliance & Governance Excellence: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, staying ahead of regulatory changes and maintaining strong governance standards. Process & Systems Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting effectiveness. Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and lead the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Prior experience in Big 4 or a reputable KAP (Public Accounting Firm) is highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing teams of 10+ staffs is mandatory. Minimum 5+ years of financial management experience Strong leadership capability with proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a finance team. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
