Key Responsibilities
A. General Accounting
Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with corporate and statutory deadlines.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset creation, depreciation, disposal, and physical asset count.
Monitor and maintain prepayments, accruals, and inventory-related accounting entries.
Assist in internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
Support preparation of statutory financial statements and corporate reporting packages.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data in ERP systems.
Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
B. Tax Management
Prepare, calculate, and file monthly and annual corporate tax obligations (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23/26, PPh 4(2), PPh Badan).
Manage VAT input/output reconciliation and ensure timely submission of e-Faktur and e-Bupot.
Coordinate with tax consultants or authorities when needed for tax audits, objections, or clarifications.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and company tax policies.
Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
Advise management on potential tax risks and opportunities to optimize tax efficiency.
3. Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and Tax (depending on position level).
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and PSAK/IFRS.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Professional certifications (Brevet A/B/C or similar) are an advantage.
