Responsibilities
Product Owners are responsible for ensuring the product meets the needs of the users and the business, managing and optimizing the product backlog in order to maximize the value of the product. Driven by
honesty
in reporting and
empathy
for the user experience, they lead product management to identify issues, define roadmaps, manage deadlines, and collaborate with stakeholders through an
agile
and adaptive approach.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Agility in planning and support the creation and maintenance of the product backlog in alignment with defined roadmaps and shifting business priorities.
Honest reporting of track and report on daily product development progress, maintaining transparency by raising issues or risks as soon as they are identified.
Translate user stories and business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for developers, collaborating with Product Design and Engineering to ensure user needs are met.
Assist collaborative integration in coordination with third parties (vendors or clients) for system integration and enhancement activities.
Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to validate deliverables before release, ensuring they truly serve the end‑user.
Actively listening in joining internal and client meetings to capture issues, document discussions, and follow up on agreed actions with empathy and precision.
Conduct requirement gathering, product research, and basic evaluations to support agile product improvements.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years as a Product Owner in software/product development, preferably in POS or ERP systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience in POS system development or enhancement, including knowledge of POS calculation logic and API integration.
Proficient in creating PRDs (and supporting docs such as BRDs/proposals) to align business and technical needs accurately.
Familiar with go‑to‑market processes, User testing, and adoption tracking.
Proficient in Jira (backlog, epics, stories, sprint tracking) and Google Analytics (adoption & user behavior analysis).
Solid logical thinking with developing strength in problem‑solving, prioritization, and agile decision‑making.
Clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and stakeholders with empathy and professionalism.
Experience in POS go‑live cycles, UI/UX revamp projects, or working within a high‑speed Agile/Scrum environment.
