Technical Manager

Area Technical Manager Area Technical Manager is responsible for technical service excellence, uptime, and engineering capability across the assigned region. This role ensures industrial inkjet printers and related coding systems are installed, maintained, and supported to meet customer SLAs, productivity targets, and quality standards, while developing a high-performing engineering team.

Job Responsibilities

Act as the highest technical authority in the area.

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are executed on time.

Handle critical breakdown escalations and root cause analysis.

Standardize service level and technical documentation.

Lead, coach, and evaluate Field Engineers & Senior Engineers.

Define skill matrices and training plans (mechanical, electrical, software).

Conduct regular toolbox talks and technical refreshers.

Enforce service discipline, documentation, and safety standards.

Participate in customer audits, RCA meetings, and performance reviews.

Support Sales & Applications during trials, demos, new product launches, and high-risk installations.

Control service cost, overtime, and call-out efficiency.

Prepare monthly area reports for management.

Qualifications

Fluent in English or Mandarin.

Experience or in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and machine maintenance.

Strong ability in analyzing and problem solving.

Strong leadership skills, able to manage 100+ technicians.

On hand and ready to lead by example.

Willing to travel to other parts of Indonesia when needed.
