This role will be crucial in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating social risks while promoting the well-being of stakeholders affected by our activities**Job Description :*** Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of Social Impact Assessments (SIAs) for new projects and existing operations, aligning with international best practices and company policies.* Develop and implement robust social monitoring programs to track key social performance indicators, community engagement effectiveness, and grievance mechanisms.* Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement activities, ensuring meaningful participation from local communities, indigenous groups, NGOs, and other relevant parties.* Analyze social data, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports on social performance, including recommendations for improvement and corrective actions.* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sustainability, operations, legal, human resources) to integrate social considerations into project planning, development, and operational processes.* Develop and deliver training programs on social impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and grievance handling for relevant company personnel.* Stay abreast of evolving social sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the palm oil industry and global agricultural sector.* Manage and respond to community grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution in line with established procedures.* Contribute to the development and review of company social policies, procedures, and management systems.* Represent the company in external forums, workshops, and dialogues related to social sustainability and community development.**Job Requirements :*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, International Development, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in conducting Social Impact Assessments (SIAs) and social monitoring, preferably within the agricultural, forestry, or extractives sectors.* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, community consultation, and conflict resolution, particularly with vulnerable communities.* Strong understanding of international social safeguards and standards (e.g., IFC Performance Standards, RSPO Principles & Criteria, Free, Prior and Informed Consent - FPIC).* Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative social research methodologies, data analysis, and reporting.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in challenging field environments.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.* Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, often in remote areas.* Commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and social justice.* Placement at HO Jakarta**"Our company has never levied any fees for the recruitment process nor has it required to order tickets and accommodation through a certain travel agent or certain person"**We are a leading, publicly-listed, global seed-to-shelf agribusiness committed to sustainable palm oil production.Our palm oil plantations cover more than 138,000 hectares (including smallholder farmers).
