Role Description The

FPS Engineer

will be responsible for supporting the engineering, installation, and coordination of fire protection systems on construction projects. This role ensures that FPS works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, and project schedules.

Job Description Prepare Fire Protection System (FPS) design, calculations, and technical documents. Develop and review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material submittals. Support execution of fire protection works including hydrant system, sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and fire suppression system. Ensure FPS installations comply with approved documents, specifications, and applicable standards (NFPA, SNI, and local regulations). Coordinate with project, site, procurement, QAQC, HSE, and T&C teams for smooth project execution. Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and site constraints, and propose corrective technical solutions. Monitor site progress and support scheduling of fire protection activities. Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities together with related teams. Assist in preparation of method statements, work procedures, and technical documentation. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and technical records. Support punch list clearance and final project handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Proven experience in Fire Protection System engineering roles within construction projects. Strong knowledge of hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems. Good understanding of applicable fire protection standards and regulations (NFPA, SNI). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents. Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.
