Sr. Completion & Testing Engineer Location : Jakarta Overview: As a Completion Engineer within our esteemed Oil and Gas Company, you will play a pivotal role in the design, planning, and execution of well-completion operations. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing production efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and maximizing resource recovery from our oil and gas assets. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including drilling engineers, geologists, and reservoir engineers, to achieve operational excellence and meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Completion Design: Develop comprehensive completion designs tailored to reservoir characteristics, wellbore conditions, and production objectives. Utilize industry best practices and innovative technologies to enhance well performance and longevity. Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of well data, reservoir properties, and production trends to inform completion strategies. Employ reservoir modelling software and simulation tools to optimize completion designs and forecast production outcomes. Project Planning: Lead the planning and scheduling of completion operations, considering logistical constraints, equipment availability, and regulatory requirements. Develop detailed procedures and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient execution. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for completion activity. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee quality assurance to uphold operational standards. Operational Support: Provide technical support and guidance during well completion operations, monitoring progress and addressing any unforeseen challenges or deviations from the plan. Implement contingency measures as needed to mitigate risks and maintain project timelines. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of completion activities, including engineering designs, operational parameters, and performance metrics. Generate comprehensive reports and post-job evaluations to assess efficiency, identify lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance and HSE: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the completion process. Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, actively identifying and mitigating hazards to minimize risk exposure.

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred. Proven experience in completion engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on sand reservoirs and solids prevention completion preferred. Proficiency in completion design software such as Prosper, WellCat, or equivalent. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reservoir modelling and simulation techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and prioritize competing demands effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence decision-making. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to well completion and production operations. Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship, with a track record of promoting HSE awareness and compliance. Willingness to travel to field locations and work in remote or challenging environments as required.
