About the Role Seeking an experienced Sales Leader to spearhead new business development across India, APAC, China, and Japan in the

discrete manufacturing sector . Responsible for a full‑stack solution combining

HPE NonStop Compute Server infrastructure , platform management, hosting and

Smart Manufacturing Execution System (MES) , integrating with ERP systems to drive efficiency, quality, digital twin capabilities, and paperless factory operations aligned with Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategy for manufacturing solutions across targeted regions.

Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities within discrete manufacturing companies.

Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and position the solution effectively.

Collaborate with internal teams and ISV partners to design and deliver integrated MES solutions.

Drive adoption of HPE GreenLake as‑a‑Service pricing models for cloud‑like consumption.

Negotiate and close complex solution deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven track record in solution selling to manufacturing companies.

Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, terminology and pain points.

Experience working for a manufacturer or selling to manufacturers.

Ability to articulate value propositions around Industry 4.0, MES and digital transformation.

Familiarity with ERP integration, factory scheduling and smart manufacturing concepts.

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to work across diverse cultures and geographies in India, APAC, China and Japan.

Education & Experience

Minimum 10+ years in enterprise solution sales, with at least 5 years focused on discrete manufacturing.

Experience working within a manufacturing company or selling to manufacturers.

Familiarity with Industry 4.0, MES systems, ERP integration and digital transformation initiatives.

Technical & Domain Expertise

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology and operational challenges.

Knowledge of MES platforms, factory scheduling and integration with ERP and supplier systems.

Comfortable discussing IT infrastructure (compute servers, hosting, platform management) and as‑a‑Service pricing models.

Awareness of Smart Factory concepts, Digital Twin and paperless factory initiatives.

Additional Skills

Solution selling, consultative approach, cross‑cultural communication, relationship building, strategic thinking.
