RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $10B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

The Role
We’re hiring a
Customer Storyteller
because we work with some of the most ambitious, creative, and successful apps in the world—and their stories deserve to be told in ways that are just as bold.
RevenueCat powers apps used by millions of people every day. Behind those apps are founders, operators, and teams building category-defining products. This role exists to
get close to those customers , earn their trust, and tell their stories in ways that inspire other builders.
This role
sits on our Content team , where storytelling, craft, and narrative quality are core. At the same time, it is deeply cross-functional by nature. You’ll work closely with
Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success,
to surface the right stories, align them to product value, and make them useful across go-to-market efforts.
About you:
You:
Have
5+ years of experience
in content, customer marketing, or product marketing with a strong customer focus
Have shipped customer stories that supported marketing, sales, or brand credibility
Are comfortable interviewing customers and building trust quickly
Can own projects from concept to launch with minimal oversight
Are
AI-first
and use modern tools to move faster and scale impact
Do
not
need to be a video editor, but know how to brief, review, and orchestrate video production
Are highly organized and able to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively in writing and conversation
Are energized by cross-functional collaboration and independent execution
In the first month, you'll:
You’ll:
Complete onboarding and gain a deep understanding of RevenueCat’s product, customers, and voice
Embed with the
Content team
to learn how we plan, ship, and measure content at RevenueCat
Build strong working relationships with
Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
Join customer calls alongside CS and Sales to hear how customers describe their businesses and their use of RevenueCat
Audit existing customer stories, testimonials, and proof points to identify gaps and opportunitiesIdentify quick-win storytelling opportunities aligned with Content and Product Marketing priorities
Ship your first customer-facing asset
(e.g. quote, testimonial, short story, or content contribution)
Within the first 3 months, you'll:

Own the customer storytelling pipeline end-to-end as part of the Content team
Produce your
first flagship customer story , such as a long‑form case study or video
Establish a repeatable intake and prioritization process with
Sales and Customer Success
Partner closely with
Product Marketing
to align customer stories to product narratives and positioning
Begin orchestrating freelancers, agencies, or production partners as needed
Integrate customer stories into blog content, campaigns, and sales enablement
Demonstrate early impact through internal adoption and qualitative feedback
Within the first 6 months, you'll:

Consistently ship high-quality customer stories across multiple formats and channels
Lead at least one
cross‑functional, multi‑channel customer storytelling campaign
Be a trusted Content partner to
Sales and CS
for pipeline support and renewals
Build and maintain a reliable external network of writers, video teams, and production partners
Use AI‑first workflows to efficiently repurpose customer stories into multiple assets
Influence how customer success is represented across RevenueCat’s content and GTM efforts
Within the first 12 months, you'll:

Set the standard for customer storytelling at RevenueCat
Demonstrate clear impact on brand credibility, pipeline influence, and customer trust
Lead large‑scale customer storytelling initiatives or campaigns
Help define best practices for how RevenueCat finds, tells, and scales customer stories
Be recognized internally as an expert in customer storytelling and narrative craft
