We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop interactive and engaging e‑learning courses for educators and teachers. This role involves transforming text‑heavy documentation into SCORM‑compliant e‑learning courses while ensuring high‑quality instructional design, interactivity, and seamless LMS integration.

The ideal candidate will oversee and execute the entire course development process from curriculum and instructional design to storyboarding, scripting, course authoring, testing, and deployment.

This is a 12‑month contract role with potential to convert to a full‑time position at the end of the contract. You will be required to complete not less than 7 end‑to‑end courses during the tenure.

Key Responsibilities

Course Development & Design:

Create SCORM‑compliant e‑learning modules optimised for LMS delivery. Transform text‑heavy documentation into engaging digital learning experiences.

Full‑Cycle Development:

Manage the end‑to‑end e‑learning course creation process, from instructional design and curriculum structuring to storyboarding, scripting, authoring, testing, and implementation.

Instructional Design & Storyboarding:

Analyse source materials and structure clear learning journeys. Develop detailed storyboards and apply instructional design principles to ensure clarity, engagement, and retention.

Content Development & Voice‑Over Scripting:

Write voice‑over scripts and convert text‑heavy documentation into learner‑friendly content suited for educator audiences. Integrate AI‑generated voice‑overs into SCORM courses.

Course Authoring & Production:

Build interactive SCORM‑compliant courses using Articulate 360. Develop quizzes, interactions, and multimedia elements. Conduct testing and quality checks prior to deployment.

AI & Multimedia Integration:

Integrate AI voice‑over tools within course builds. Generate visual assets using AI tools where required and perform basic visual editing.

LMS Integration:

Ensure seamless compatibility, deployment, and functionality of e‑learning courses within an LMS. Troubleshoot SCORM or deployment issues.

Interactive Learning:

Design engaging, interactive learning experiences to improve learner engagement and retention.

Project, Timeline and Stakeholders Management:

Manage timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of all assigned courses.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

3–5 years in instructional design and e‑learning course development.

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or communications is preferred.

E‑Learning & Multimedia Development:

Strong hands‑on expertise in Articulate 360 is required. Experience with Adobe Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, or AI image/content tools is a plus.

LMS & Technical Knowledge:

Hands‑on experience working with LMS platforms. Basic understanding of HTML is an advantage.

Instructional Design Expertise:

Strong knowledge of learning theories, storyboarding, and scripting for digital learning.

Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills:

Ability to assess learning effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Agile Work Environment:

Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
