Business Consultant – Payments/Banking

As part of our investment in vertical depth, we are expanding our
Payments & Banking consulting capability
to strengthen early-stage solutioning, deal shaping, vertical thought leadership and repeatable domain offerings. This role is central to improving win rates, increasing pull-through revenue, and institutionalizing vertical IP.
What we expect from you
As a
Business Consultant – Payments/Banking , you will serve as the domain and consulting partner to Qubika’s Sales, Solution Architecture, and Delivery leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the consulting partner to Managing Directors, Client Partners and Portfolio Delivery Managers for Payments & Banking accounts.
Lead client discovery, diagnostics, and roadmap engagements across banking and payments platforms.
Serve as the domain co-solutioning lead for Payments/Banking opportunities.
Develop industry use cases, business flows, and capability maps (e.g., payments processing, digital banking, compliance, fraud, reconciliation).
Support RFP/RFI responses and Statement of Work shaping.
Partner with Solution Architects to validate feasibility and scope.
Develop repeatable accelerators, blueprints, and domain workflows for Payments & Banking.
Build standardized discovery frameworks and use-case libraries.
Create reusable proposal modules and case-study storytelling kits.
Required Qualifications
Must-have
+ 8 years of experience in Payments and/or Banking consulting, advisory, product or techno-functional domain roles.
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
Payment processing platforms (card, ACH, RTP, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022).
Digital banking platforms (core banking, lending, onboarding, KYC).
Merchant acquiring, issuing, wallets, or embedded finance.
Risk, compliance, AML, fraud, reconciliation, or settlements.
Proven experience leading client discovery, diagnostics, and roadmap engagements.
Strong background in business analysis and solution shaping for digital platforms.
Experience supporting enterprise pre-sales, RFPs, and complex deals.
Ability to translate regulatory, operational, and business requirements into technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to interact with senior client stakeholders (CIO/CTO/Product Heads) and influence solution direction.
Nice to have
Experience working with fintechs, banks, payment networks, or processors.
Exposure to regulated financial environments across multiple geographies.
Prior experience building accelerators, frameworks, or reusable domain IP.
Experience working with global, distributed teams.
