Duties & Responsibilities

Develop new formulations and provide recommendations to improve or customize formulas, processes, or analytical methods, respectively, to the formula

Responsible for the development of skincare product formulation, including personal care, Traditional medicines (OT), and Household Health Supplies (PKRT) products.

Lead and develop the Research and Development team

Carry out any additional assignments as directed by Research and Development Management.

Ensure stability and efficacy according to project requirements

Issue product specifications as required and maintain relevant data throughout each product’s development.

Verify formula reproducibility before the initial production run with a lab-scale up.

Responsible for the formulation process, trial, and validation

Responsible for the results of laboratory-scale testing and product development at scale

Maintain adherence to cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practice), and product compliance according to BPOM and other foreign FDAs (for export)

Responsible for product registration documentation, including PIF

Job Requirements

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Research and Development in the Cosmetics & Skincare industry, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role ( manager/ assistant manager)

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent

Strong leadership with interpersonal skills

Innovative, self-motivated, with good communication skills and strong analytical thinking

Able to work under pressure

Having knowledge about skincare, color cosmetic, formulation, trial, and small/ large production processes

Having knowledge about the registration of cosmetic products, traditional medicines (OT), and Household Health Supplies (PKRT)

Understand Halal certification

Willing to work at Cikupa - Tangerang
