Sales Director

The Sales Director will lead and drive national sales strategy across Modern Trade, General Trade, and key distributors in Indonesia. This role is responsible for revenue growth, distributor management, channel expansion, and building a high-performance sales organization aligned with Taokaenoi’s long-term brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute national sales strategy to achieve annual revenue, margin, and distribution targets

Lead and manage distributors across Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), and selected Key Accounts

Negotiate commercial terms, trade agreements, product listings, and promotional plans with key customers

Drive numeric distribution, visibility, and execution excellence across all channels

Monitor sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs; ensure strong discipline in sales operations

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HQ teams to ensure alignment and execution

Build, coach, and develop a strong sales leadership team and frontline organization

Ensure compliance with company policies (HQ Thailand), trade regulations, and local market practices

Be able to assume additional functional roles as assigned by management, to ensure alignment with Indonesian legal and regulatory requirements, as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)

Minimum 10–15 years of sales leadership experience in FMCG, preferably food or snack categories

Proven track record managing national distributors and modern trade accounts in Indonesia

Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, promotions, trade spend, and P&L management

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
