Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Technician to contribute subject matter expertise to advanced AI model training initiatives. In this remote role, you will combine hands-on mechanical experience with analytical and communication skills to improve AI systems that support mechanical design, testing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting. Your real-world technical knowledge will directly enhance the accuracy and reliability of next-generation engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities Apply core mechanical engineering principles to train and evaluate AI models focused on design, manufacturing, and R&D applications Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to validate and refine AI-generated outputs Develop structured datasets and real-world test scenarios based on mechanical assembly, disassembly, diagnostics, and troubleshooting workflows Review AI model responses for technical accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to engineering standards Translate complex mechanical systems and fabrication processes into clear documentation for AI training purposes Identify gaps in AI understanding and recommend targeted improvements Collaborate remotely with engineers, developers, and AI specialists to continuously enhance training materials

Required Skills and Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, Technician, Mechanical Designer, or similar role Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical specifications Hands-on experience assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in documentation Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications Experience contributing to AI model training, machine learning initiatives, or technical data annotation Background in automotive, manufacturing, industrial systems, or R&D environments Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and remote engineering workflows
