Job Description

Lead the DBA Team, overseeing activities of the junior and senior professionals, and monitoring

Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s goals

Coordinate responsibilities, priorities and capacity planning for their team.

Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL and other non-relational database administrations through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.

Manage cloud-based database servers and processes, including regular maintenance and monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

Support product development teams for database designs and implementations, including a review of system architecture, contributing to improving future architecture aiming for stability, cost-efficiency, and high levels of performance.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields.

Experience in leading DBA teams and projects

5+ years of hands‑on experience with production of MySQL and PostgreSQL database operations.

Expertise in performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring, troubleshooting, and database performance monitoring tools

Familiar with cloud technology (e.g. AWS‑RDS / GCP‑CloudSQL)

Familiar with scripting languages (at least one of Shell or Python).

Familiar with Linux OS and good system troubleshooting skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, in critical situations under pressure as well as in day‑to‑day operations.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
