Senior Business Analyst (Insurance & E-commerce) Location:

Mexico and Latam (nearshore resources) Work model:

100% Remote Type : Contract | Duration: 6 months Interviews:

2–3 rounds

About the Role We are looking for someone who is nearshore and has at least a 6 hour overlap with the US time zone. It is essential that they are self-driven and are able to operate with minimal supervision, have excellent communication skills and be able to work directly with our senior business stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities in support of insurance and e-commerce initiatives. This role partners with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze business processes, define requirements, and support the delivery of compliant, scalable, and customer-focused solutions. The position requires strong insurance domain knowledge combined with hands-on experience supporting e-commerce and digital platforms.

Responsibilities Lead requirements discovery and analysis efforts for insurance and e-commerce initiatives Partner with business, product, compliance, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows Analyze insurance operations including policy lifecycle, enrollment, billing, claims, and regulatory requirements Support e-commerce capabilities such as online quoting, enrollment, payments, customer self-service, and digital integrations Document current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for optimization Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, backlog refinement, and solution reviews Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure requirements align with technical standards and enterprise architecture Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, security, and audit requirements Provide ongoing communication and status updates to stakeholders and leadership

✅ Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience Required English level: Fluent (B2–C1) Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience with demonstrated senior-level responsibility Strong insurance industry experience (health, life, P&C, or specialty insurance) E-commerce experience including digital customer journeys and online transactions Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills Insurance domain expertise E-commerce and digital platform understanding Business process modeling and requirements management Stakeholder facilitation and communication Problem-solving and analytical thinking Regulatory and compliance awareness

⭐ Preferred Qualifications Experience with insurance core systems (policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting) Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, payment processing, and customer identity solutions Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives Business analysis or project management certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.)
