We are looking for a

ServiceNow Tester

who will ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of ServiceNow solutions in an agile development environment. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to validate requirements, execute test cycles, and secure high-quality delivery across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Derive test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.

Execute functional, regression, and automated tests on the ServiceNow platform.

Create and maintain test documentation and support test automation using ATF (Automated Test Framework).

Record, analyze, and track defects, working closely with developers and product owners.

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality throughout the agile lifecycle.

Support the definition and implementation of governance and compliance standards in the testing area.

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and optimization potential in the testing process.

Develop test concepts, test plans, and migration testing strategies.

Ensure compliance with relevant technical and methodological standards (e.g., ISTQB, ITIL, SAFe, IT security standards).

Create and maintain test environments and test automation frameworks.

Support the collection, management, and preparation of test data.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow processes and hands‑on experience with ATF test automation.

Ideally certified (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS, CTA, CWA).

Solid experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum).

Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Miro.

High level of ownership, flexibility, hands‑on mentality, and strong personal initiative.

Mandatory Qualifications

Completed technical education (HTL, university, applied sciences) or at least 5 years of experience in IT.

Minimum 3 years of verifiable ServiceNow testing experience within the last 5 years.

Strong practical experience with modern QA processes, tools, and documentation.

Hands‑on experience with agile project work, including at least one year as a tester in an agile team.

Very good German skills (C1+) and English skills (B2+), written and spoken.
