About the Job
This role is responsible for operating tours according to pre‑defined standard operating procedures, coordinating with sales, hotel, inbound operations and third‑party suppliers, and creating itineraries for the MICE package. You will report to the MICE Operations Supervisor or Operations Team Leader.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and coordinate operations activities within assigned markets for products and services.
Reserve and manage changes on all components of a tour (hotels, coaches, guides, attractions, etc.) before the go‑ahead stage.
Prepare invoices and credit notes, including negotiations as necessary.
Check purchase orders and finalize all documentation.
Support local service account queries and maintain effective communication with hotel reservations, inbound operations and third‑party suppliers.
Handle complaints and compensation, and coordinate with sales on troubleshooting and tour feedback.
Communicate with clients throughout the sales process, including the compilation of quotations and professional offers.
Provide ongoing service after sales contact with existing customers.
Ensure adherence to profit margins, sales procedures and operation guidelines for each project.
Deliver standard service quality for projects/events delivery and attend on‑site where applicable.
Strictly manage the costs and charges of suppliers, creating regular and accurate reports of costs and sales values.
Maintain and deliver agreed levels of service during all stages of pre‑sale, planning, delivery and post‑event.
Co‑work with colleagues from different countries.
Requirements
Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in the MICE or tourism/travel industry.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a flexible, can‑do attitude.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and operate independently.
