Job Description
Assists the Finance & Admin Manager in all areas of the accounting function. Supervises and coordinates the calculation of financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Accounting degree from a four year college or eight to ten years accounting experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail oriented
Has experience in inventory planning is preferred
Working independently and on time for the reporting deadline
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Finance Manager.
Assigns new general ledger accounts and updates the templates within the system to reflect these changes.
Assumes responsibilities and works according to the Quality System as declared by Management.
Prepares and enters standard journal entries during the month.
Prepares monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintains the Expense Report system and updates employee banking information.
Provides month-end financial information to various departments upon request.
Enters yearly budgets.
Provides payroll for staff.
Manages inventory planning and reconciliation.
Adjusts and communicates plans to address forecast/actual fluctuations.
Assumes all tasks related to HR
EDUCATION AND/O R EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
English is a must.
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and other employees of the organization.
