A Senior SAP PP Consultant designs implements and optimizes production planning solutions in SAP S4HANA leading projects by gathering requirements configuring modules like MRP PPDS integrating with other SAP modules MM SD EWM mentoring juniors and guiding clients on best practices for manufacturing efficiency requiring strong functional expertise project management and stakeholder communication skills Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Design Lead implementationrollout projects facilitate workshops gather business requirements and design complex tailored solutions ConfigurationOptimization Configure and customize SAP PP Production Planning modules including MRP and PPDS Demand Planning for holistic process improvement IntegrationArchitecture Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules MM SD EWM IBP DM and external systems TestingDocumentation Develop functional specifications oversee testing UAT Unit Testing and create training materials MentorshipSupport Mentor junior consultants provide postgolive support and resolve complex user issues Client Engagement Act as a liaison between business and technical teams manage risks and communicate project progress to stakeholders Key SkillsQualifications Typically 6 to 10 years of SAP consulting experience with involvement in at least 3 to 5 fullcycle implementations Deep functional knowledge of SAP PP S4HANA and related modules Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills Business acumen to translate manufacturing needs into SAP solutions Project management experience often in global multidisciplinary team ExperienceMergers and acquisition and large projects is a plus Bachelors degree in engineering Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field Fluent English
