Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on fabrication and workshop. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience operation for the job of Plant Manager. The job is based in Balikpapan, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Report to the GM

Plan business strategies, including budget planning, resource analysis, and activity plans to achieve workshop operational goals.

Effectively manage and oversee all factory operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and logistics.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Lead and develop the production team, creating a safe and productive work environment.

Analyze operational data and make strategic decisions to increase productivity and profitability.

Collaborate with other functional teams to optimize process flow and resolve problems.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related major from reputable university

Minimum 15 years of experience in a managerial position in the heavy equipment reconditioning/remanufacturing industry, with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.

Possession of a POP certification

In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production technology, and safety program development.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as develop employee talent and skills.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Good understanding of applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations in the industry.

Willing to be based in Balikpapan
