Finance Analyst

Job Description Finance Analysts at Traveloka play a pivotal role in streamlining business processes across Product, Finance, and Accounting, ensuring seamless integration of new products and features into financial workflows and recordings.

They are expected to apply their expertise in accounting and core financial principles to a variety of financial, accounting, and fiscal functions. They collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments such as business analysts, software engineers, product and finance teams to identify finance requirements and impacts of each initiative, and drive process improvement to enhance efficiency.

Finance Analysts are considered strategic minds behind the business process, often working on project‑based tasks involving impact analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, reporting, and financial analysis to integrate products with finance tools.

They also play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reporting data, particularly during the critical Accounting Month‑End Closing process, contributing to reliable financial reporting and the company’s overall success.

Responsibilities

Streamline business processes across Product, Finance, and Accounting teams.

Apply accounting and core financial principles to a variety of financial and fiscal functions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify finance requirements and impacts of initiatives.

Drive process improvement to enhance efficiency.

Conduct impact analysis and requirements gathering for projects.

Propose data modeling, reporting, and financial analysis to integrate products with finance tools.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting data during Accounting Month‑End Closing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Information Systems from a reputable university.

2–3 years of experience in finance or accounting related fields.

Experience in a technology company, startup, consulting, or accounting firm.

Experience with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, or ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle, SAP).

Knowledgeable in financial reporting and accounting practices.

Experience in analyzing financial data.

Experience with financial audits.

Project‑based work experience.

Experience in system implementation.

Basic understanding of common technologies for custom and packaged applications.

Experience in business process improvement.

Desired (Additional) Experience

Working experience from top‑tier IT/Finance/Big 4 consulting firms in advisory/management consulting, technology companies, and other relevant industries.
