Barge Operations Manager

Oversee day-to-day all operations activities (Cargo + Marine) Manage pre/post barge operations activities with respective timeline Daily operation activeness should be monitored on 24 hours daily basis Provide directions and resolutions for all routine and non-routine business problems Attend to Masters’ requirement and instruction any given time Close communication and maintain good relationship with Port Authorities, terminal operators, Masters, Customs and local port Institutions Oversee the port cost, bunker and operations budget. Maintain OPEX with Barge Management Maintain and monitor monthly reporting, productivity and KPI on department Procure operation and administrative services as required for assigned marine vessels including coordinating pilots, tugs, and linesman and berthing assignments for vessels. Report vessel’s arrival/sailing/cargo/commence/complete/ times and condition to Shipping Assistant(s) after office hours, as applicable Settle and handle charges for berthing, port stay and sailing procedure. Maintain KPI level an accuracy on Invoice approvals /commutations with Finance department Protect CMA CGM group interest/maintain of awareness of the group policies and procedures Should actively participate for the cost saving projects on yearly basis Assist to CCI Operational procurement Logistics, Freight & Delivery Services 101-1,000 employees Led by Rodolphe Saadé, the CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, serves more than 420 ports around the world on five continents.
