Mid-Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated mid-associate to join our Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure ( ENRI ) team. Established in 2010, Ginting & Reksodiputro in association with A&O Shearman have a dedicated Indonesian team comprising Indonesian qualified partners and associates. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Drafting, reviewing and amending documentation. Legal and sector knowledge development and sharing (internally and externally). Engage with regulatory frameworks relevant to energy, natural resources, and infrastructure, identifying practical solutions to regulatory and permitting issues. Collaborate closely with partners and lawyers (including across jurisdictions and practice groups) to manage workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely deliverables under demanding timelines. Serve as a key point of contact on day-to-day matters for clients and counterparties, ensuring clear communication and consistent quality. Managing client expectations, deadlines and project delivery appropriately. Leadership and supervision of junior team members. Recognising opportunities for business development, assistance with and implementation of group and firm-wide business development strategies. Proactive engagement with clients both on and off deal with a view towards building and maintaining strong client relationships. Provide end-to-end transactional support on ENRI deals. Matter management and maximizing financial contribution. Assisting with billing activities and timely invoicing. KEY REQUIREMENTS 7+ years' experience as a corporate lawyer at a leading law firm, with exposure to project development/finance related work, upstream oil & gas, and/or infrastructure projects. Demonstrate compelling evidence capable of fulfilling the roles and responsibilities as described above. Strong academic credentials. Indonesian bar qualification is a must. Overseas master's degree is an advantage. Proven ability to lead and develop junior team members, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style. Highly motivated team players with exceptional organizational skills. Entrepreneurial drive with strong commercial/business acumen. Clear understanding of law firm economics and an understanding of the firm's strategic priorities. Clear and concise verbal and written communicator.
